Bealls Now Accepts Bitcoin at all 660 National Stores
Southern USA retailer Bealls is making headlines by becoming the first nationwide USA retailer to accept bitcoin at all of its 660 stores.
The Bealls stores include homegoods, outdoor and homeware products, spread throughout the southern USA.
Bealls is accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies through a partnership with Flexa, that has managed to integrate payments directly into the existing Bealls point-of-sale systems for a seamless customer checkout.
The goal is to make paying with bitcoin just as simple as paying with cash or credit card.

Square Bitcoin Payments Pressing Forward
The target date for what will likely be the largest Bitcoin Commerce story of the year is drawing near.
On November 10th, Square is making bitcoin payments available to their 1 million + merchants in the USA. Payments will use the Lightning Network to benefit from their fast speed, instant settlement, and low fees.
Working on another front, Jack Dorsey, Square’s cofounder, is pushing for a de minimis tax exemption for bitcoin payments in the USA.
Both of these would be huge for Bitcoin Commerce in the USA. Let’s see what happens next week!

Rumble Bitcoin and Stablecoin Tipping
In another potentially massive story to watch, Rumble, a 51 million user video streaming platform, is aiming to roll out bitcoin and stablecoin tipping in December.
When implemented, this could be a really interesting feature to keep an eye on. Not only because of the sheer numbers of people that will have access to bitcoin and stablecoin features, but also because easy, economical in-app tipping could make Rumble much easier to monetize for creators compared to other platforms.
Tipping has undoubtedly been a successful use case for Bitcoin micropayments on smaller and more experimental platforms, it will be interesting to see how this plays out on something like Rumble, which is much larger and more mainstream.
This could be an especially interesting feature for creators in the developing world looking to monetize their videos, who otherwise couldn’t accept tips using traditional payments.
Keep an eye on this next month, it will be interesting!

Ecommerce gets a built-in bitcoin exchange
Want to see what ecommerce looks like on the edge? BTCPay Server, a free and open source Bitcoin payment processor, now has a plugin that enables peer-to-peer bitcoin exchange directly in the merchant’s server.
That means that merchants accepting bitcoin payments now have a built-in exchange for converting bitcoin into fiat currencies to pay expenses whenever needed.
If you’re a business using BTCPay server this is definitely worth looking into.
